it is with great sadness we notify of the death of PRIVATE WILLIAM STEELE on 23 November 2023.
Billy completed his training at Berwick in 1956 before transferring to 3 PARA where he served in Cyprus and Suez. Throughout his life he was proud to have been a Borderer.
His funeral will be held at Tweedmouth Parish Church on Monday 11 December at 1100hrs, with a burial at Berwick Cemetery, refreshments will be served at Tweedmouth Bowling club.
